To Change The World

We believe each of us has the compassicity to influence the world to bring about changes to improve living conditions of others. It takes one: to change the world! Are you the one?

If history records anything of 2011, it should note the "power of the people!" People in many middle eastern countries have lived decades under the oppression of militancy. Causing suppression of expression of speech, finical suppression and loss of religious freedom. In countries like Egypt people began to express their growing unrest with the political decidisons being made, their governments and economic policies and leadership. Through the power of social media, individuals were able to share the thoughts, feelings and ideas for change and organise mass relies and demonstrations that lead to several political reiginesmes being dismantled. Wow! 2011 saw real world change. Not due to an idealodologists or social activist, nor the intervention of the UN or the United States government, but because ordinary people like you and me made a stand for something the believed in.

At its take one this is the kind of world changing history we want you to become involved in. We're not asking you to join a political party or feed the world. We're asking you to make a difference in somebody's life today. Now, that might be as simple as having a cup of tea with an eldery person in your street or do some babysitting for a single mum.

I am a big believer that world change doesn't need to be about money, so we're not a charity, we are happy to link you to charities we think changes lives if you want to do that type of thing. I also believe world change doesn't no need to be about power or politics and many food shortages are caused by political games, power, greed and control, so we are not a political group. I believe real everlasting world change will come about through geniue unconditional love and asking individuals to Pay It Forward.

And sometimes that first change needs to occur in ourselves. Many years ago I heard this story that has left a lasting impact on my life.

"I thought I would change THE WORLD! But then I thought to myself . . . No! That is too hard . . . So the I thought I would start with AUSTRALIA! (THE COUNTRY IN WHICH I LIVE) . . . No! Ahh! That is too big! I know I will start with QUEENSLAND! (THE STATE IN WHICH I LIVE!) . . . Ahh! Nar! That is still too big! I know, I know I will start with IPSWICH! (MY CITY) . . . May be even that is too big! How about I start with my neighbourhood! Umm! That still might be a little to big . . . So I think I will start with MY STREET! Umm! that may be still to big. . . . I know I will start with MY FAMILY! NO!

The Pay If Forward Experience

"We are seeking to change the world one person at a time." Wearing the pay it forward bracelet reminds us to be giving acts of services or random acts of kindness all the time. Seeing the bracelets acts as a visible reminder. It is also a conversation starter of a ready tool you can hand to others when you ask them to Pay It Forward you not giving them a bracelet to keep but to give it on to someone else.

We belong to Facebooks fastest growing group. In under one month we have over 3,500 people join. The pay it forward message is that simple and that powerful. Charley the creator of the bracelet does not ask for any money. He entirely funds the production and distribution himself. Currently Charley we are looking for companies to sponsor the bracelets and thus the Pay If Forward Experience. People make our history markers list for all sorts of reasons, they are young, old, black or white. They transform to a better place or leave a devastating impact on this world.

Steve Jobs help mark this world a lot smaller. By founding the Apple computer Company he play a significant roll in how we communicate, educate, trade, and even entertain. Apple brought a user friendly computer into our homes, long before the Internet was carried in our pockets, but he helped with that too. Add to that Steve was a humble person and gentle spoken. In October 2011 Steve was taken from this world far too soon.
